Specimen notes
Public Note:
[PdL] Common in open moss covered clay pan amongst sparse rawiri (Kunzea linearis) and mature pohutukawa (Metrosideros excelsa). Fruiting bodies delicate, whitish to very pale white-orange. Voucher: P.J. de Lange 13984 & T.J.P. de Lange [JAC] Looks like an Entoloma but has smooth pale brown spores without a germ pore. Requires a sequence. [JAC] sequence says Pluteus 'yellow'. What? Must be a swap. Material needs examination. .. and a closer look indicates there are multiple taxa in the collection. A Pluteus, a Mycena, a Tubaria and a Galerina.
