Specimen notes
Public Note:
A cluster of pluteus on the same branch with graded cap colour. B233 identical to 223 apart from darker cap. DNA from 223. Micro-details: spores length=6.2-8.1µm (µ=7.2, σ=0.5), width=4.7-7.4µm (µ=6.0, σ=0.7), Q=1.1-1.4µm (µ=1.2, σ=0.1), n=19 (P. minor 5.5-8x5.5-7). Cheilocystidia 50 x 4(thinnest neck) to 16 (P. minor 35-50x12-20. Pleurocystidia 50 x 15 (P. minor 45-55 x 14-18). Caulocystidia to 60 x 13 (P. minor 35-50 x 10-18). PP cells 70 x 15 (P. minor 70-140x12-20). I see nothing to distinguish this from Horak's interpretaion of P. minor. The cluster of P. minor sequences is 7-9bp (across 700bp ITS) different to the yellow NZ/Tasmania variant. They are very closely related indeed.
