spores length=11.1-12.9µm (µ=12.1, σ=0.58), width=8.5-10.5µm (µ=9.2, σ=0.61), Q=1.2-1.4µm (µ=1.32, σ=0.07), n=8. C. globosum sensu lato. Spores without multiple germ pores, consistently limoniform, ascomata ostiolate (tendrils exuded), terminal hairs not dichotomously branched, not coiled, hairs 6-7um diam at base. Keys to C. olivaceum or C. subaffine (non sensu Bell). Culture contaminated at ICMP.
