[WD] These mushrooms have a dark grey-brown cap which is lighter around the margin. The gills are creamy-pale grey when young becoming cream when older with a sinuate attachment to the stipe. The stipe is light grey and fibrous in appearance and 4-5 mm in diameter. The caps were observed growing from 1.5 to 3.2 cm in diameter and 1.5 to 3.2 cm in height. [JAC] spores fleetingly and weakly amyloid. basidia 2-4 spored. Clamped. No cystidia. Spores (inlcuding apiculus) length=5.6-7.7µm (µ=6.6, σ=0.64), width=3.2-3.9µm (µ=3.5, σ=0.25), Q=1.6-2.3µm (µ=1.91, σ=0.19), n=17
