Public Note:
With evanescent ring. Smell acidulous. Spores length=10.4-12.0µm (µ=11.2, σ=0.51), width=5.6-7.3µm (µ=6.3, σ=0.42), Q=1.6-1.9µm (µ=1.79, σ=0.08), n=20. Stipe glutinous, on soil not dung, with pleurochrysocystidia and cylindrical cheilocystidia. Sp. nov.? Closest to P. alcis var. austrobrasiliensis but habitat and spore size wrong. Near Clavogaster 'whakapapa'. Needs LSU. Same as PDD95059 as C. gemmeus!
