Public Note:
[GS] Small mushrooms growing on a bank beside a walking track. Caps to 10 mm across, dark brown, paler towards the margin. Stems dark brown. Gills fawn coloured, widely spaced and decurrent. [JAC] may have had an odour. Pileipellis a brown hymeniderm. No cystidia observed. Hyphae unclamped. Spores, excluding apiculus, length=4.9-6.0µm (µ=5.5, σ=0.32), width=4.0-5.2µm (µ=4.5, σ=0.33), Q=1.1-1.3µm (µ=1.22, σ=0.08), n=20, some double size.
