Public Note:
[WMD] hese fruit bodies had a smooth dark black-brown cap with green tones. The cap size was up to 4 cm in diameter. The gills were orange-brown and were attached at the top to the stipe. The stipe was orange-brown and smooth. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest. Spores about 7.5-8 x 5 micron. Clive would call this Hygrocybe fuscoaurantiaca, see http://www.hiddenforest.co.nz/fungi/ under Hygrophoraceae.
