[GS] Growing on soil in broadleaf-podocarp forest. Caps 25 mm across, fawn overlain with darker fibres and with a small dark-brown umbo. Stem white, becoming pink towards the base. Gills white and sinuate. [JAC] the pileipellis is a clamped cutis with brown plasmatic content (some terminally slightly swollen). The spores are inamyloid and large, 9x6, 4-spored.
