Specimen notes
Public Note:
smell mealy, cystidia infrequent but present, basally septate. 4-spored, spores 8-8.5 x 6. Stem much shorter than cp dam. The thick walled lageniform basally septate cystidia, grey gills and growth in dunes all point to M. cineriefolia. However a sequence of this places it in Vizzini's A1.2 along with M. brevipes (humilis for Antonin), with very different cystidia. M. cinereifolia appears in his clade B5. See 2015-Antonin 10.1007/s11557-015-1125-0, 2012- Vizzini http://dx.doi.org/10.5248/118.361
