31st Fungal Foray of New Zealand
Public Note:
[PL] cap applanate, dark brown, fibrillose. Gills adnexed, thick, cream, bruising brown, brown edge. Stipe cylindrical, twisted, irregular, glabrous. Odour of chlorine, spores neither amyloid or dextrinoid. [JAC] pileipellis a broad clamped cutis of hyphae with brown plasmatic pigment and shortly conical and blunt septate terminacl cells. Spores inamyloid, tricholamtoid, both cap and gill trama with golden yellow oliferous hyphae. Cheilos not observed, spores 9 x 5. This is consistent with N. innata and relationship to JAC13269 will be interesting to find out.
