Specimen notes
Public Note:
[WMD] Mycena-like fruit bodies with a distinct green tinge. The caps are small and conical up to about 13 mm in diameter. The stipe is narrow (about 1 mm in diameter) and protrudes about 3.5 cm above the substrate but tends to extend down entwined amongst the woody debris and is typically about 6.5 cm in length. The gills are cream with a hint of green and are attached at the top only. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest. [JAC] Spores confirmed as inamyloid. The lamellar edge is encrusted in material that doesn't dissolve in melzers or alkali. In addition a squash proves difficult and reveals little extra detail. The cheilocystidia are reminiscent of some physlacriaceae, but I'd say this was near Omphalina wellingtonensis. [Sep. 2016] sequence agrees - is in group with M. acicula and O. wellingtonensis
