Specimen notes
Public Note:
Cap sticky, stem with dots, without ring. Flesh bright yellow becoming pink/orange. NH4OH no reaction. KOH on fleash pink. No blue. Stem base without yellow or pink hyphae (but has yellow flesh). Taste sweet. Pores yellow/ochre. Not bruising. Looks like a small S. granulatus with odd flesh colouring. Worth checking with a sequence. I suspect it will be the same as JAC8816 which is near S. grevillei, but no larch here. No, sequence says S. granulatus sss
