Public Note:
Deliquescing. Stem with basal bulb and veilar remnants washing off. Veil of ellipsoid/globose chains. Hymenium not coprinoid. Gill without gian pleurocytidia spacers. No caulocystidia. Spores length=11.9-13.9µm (µ=13.3, σ=0.54), width=7.7-9.2µm (µ=8.5, σ=0.44), Q=1.4-1.7µm (µ=1.57, σ=0.09), n=20. Needs sequence. Length of stem indicates C cinerea sensu Hawaii (see Hawaii treatment in Fungal Diversity). Young material very lagopus-like.
