Public Note:
cap soapy. This mostly in mossy soil with pellets. However there are no chrysocystidia on stem or gills (very few small distorted basidia-like cells yellow), and the cheilos are lecythiform and occasional pleuro utriform. Not protostropharia semiglobata. No acanthocytes or astrocystidia on mycelium so not Stropharia/Protostropharia. In culture has clusters of rhomboidal crystals - but then so do lots of cultures of basidios and ascos. Clamped. 4-spored. 7 x 13. Spores thick-walled. Pileipellis a gelatinised cutis. Stipe dry. No veil observed. Gill edge not separable. White cottony veil remnants on young cap margin. None seen on stem. Spore print brown, not dark/purplish. No ring zone. Dried poorly but fruited in petri dish.
