Public Note:
In plant pot with fern from Fern Factor (Blechnum penna-marina). Gills thick, wavy. Gills pale and maturing sienna. Tubarioid. Microscopcally a Tympanella but not secotioid. Looks identical to recent collection also from Fern Factor. Frb surprisingly rigid. Mealy taste. Sequence identical to T. galanthina but this is certainly not secotioid. This record shows beyond doubt that Tympanela is not ECM. Combined ITS/LSU places near Galerina clavata/seminlanceata (not Galerina ss) and in strophariaceae sl
