Specimen notes
Public Note:
[PL] cap applanate to centrally depressed, rugulose, slightly greasy, red brown. Gils adnexed, white, lamellulae in 1 series. Stipe clavate, glabrous, white with sheathing ring on lower 1/4. Flesh dextrinoid. Spores hyaline, white, globose to subglobose. 4.8-5.7 x 4.1, q=1.11 +-0.08. Smell strong of malathion. [JAC] spores minutely asperulate. Without the vinaceous reaction of JAC13285 despite same sequence. And colour different. Spores on gill show the tick wall of jac12742, but free spores do not. So that is not a good differential character.
