Public Note:
no ring zone. T. batschii has a 'sheathing ring' when young and a distinct white zone at the stem apex. T. albobrunneum also has a distinct white zone but no ring zone and the cap is minutely fibrillose. T. pessundatum does not have the ring or a white zone and the cap is smooth. This would be pessundatum but the theory of white stem apex needs testing.
