Specimen notes
Public Note:
4-spored, botrydina partner. no clamps, cap hyphae an interwoven cutis, without encrusted pigment, no amyloid hyphae seen. spores length=7.5–10.0µm (µ=8.9, σ=0.61), width=4.1–5.1µm (µ=4.6, σ=0.32), Q=1.7–2.1µm (µ=1.93, σ=0.11), n=23. Will be interesting to see if sequence is same as sphagnum bog species. The spores are not the same. The size is smaller. Sequences say not 'lewis pass' bet very close. This is the only sequenced alpina ss nz (which forms a group with a couple of sequences from Campbell Island). Bevan's PDD104685 came from the same location.
