Specimen notes
Public Note:
Possibly collected by D. Orlovich. Flesh slowly green/blue and pink at stipe base. Trama with oleiferous hyphae. No cystidia seen. Pores covered in tomentum consisting of inflated hyaline cells over basal layer with brown content (between pores). Hyphae clamped. 4-spored. McNabb did not note the peculiar nature of the pore surface, and not noted in other descriptions of marginatus.
