with long 2-needle pine (p. pinaster?). Slight blue above the pores. Taste mild. spores 9 x 3. Tubes 1 per mm. Keys to S. variegatus. Not S. sinupaulianus as that with ring. Previous material labelled S. sinupaulianus had sequence identical to S. bovinus and so does this.
