Public Note:
with tap root and definitely on soil. Spores with very short pedicels. No diaphragm. Cell base cellular, sterile. Capilitium brown, branched (not so sparingly). The absence of pedicels easily separate it from scabrum, but does place this with compactum, except this has true capilittium. nitidum or spadiceum sensu Cunningham? (not necessarily = lividum)
