Public Note:
Pileus 3-13 cm broad, convex to plane, dry, gray to light gray, subtomentose on disc, finely matted to finely areolate toward margin. Flesh white, unchanging, with farinaceous odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, close, white, unchanging with even edges. Stipe 4-8 cm long, 8-20 mm broad, equal or with a tapered base, dry, with appressed gray squamules, staining pink at the base both within and without.
