ITS indicates same as JX504144 as L. sp. and EU486434 as L. montana. Dried collections has twisted appearnec of L. proxima and presumably had violaceous tints when fresh. Mainly 4 spored but some 2. Spore size clearly showing multi-size. Hyphae clamped. Spores 8u-9um globose, larger spores to 11um. Spines to 1.4um
