ITS sequence matches Genbank accessions named Lophodermium conigenum and Lophodermium pinastri; presumably this is a host switch from Pinus. There were no zone lines on the leaves - if the host-fungus interaction is the same as with Pinus then this is more likely to be L. conidgenum. The only infected Cunninghamia leaves seen were those collected, although there were large number of fallen leaves in the vicintiy.
