gills forming a collar at the stem. Marasmius section marasmius. Clamped. Cheilocystidia and cap rotalis. Spores length=7.9-10.4µm (µ=9.2, σ=0.7), width=4.5-5.7µm (µ=5.1, σ=0.3), Q=1.6-2.0µm (µ=1.8, σ=0.1), n=13. Epithet should be rotalis. Perhaps a bit too pigmented for this sensu stricto.
