See also 'psilocybe' fasciculare var armeniacus and Fuhrere's H. sp. This is not H. fasciculare sensu auct Europe. It is smaller, with bowner colours and closer to H. subviride and the NZ H. acutum (and a number of other names for small, sometimes papillate taxa, e.g. H papillatum Mexico). See a number of collections by Horak e.g. ZT0626. Sequences of fasciulare/subviride show variability in the latter and sufficient distance from fasciculare to be rank species not var. Not that subviride is described as sulphur yellow capped, which is not Pegler (Borneo, not antilles/sri lanka) concept. See also H. confusum.
