P.R. Johnston
Public Note:
Cap dimitic (with thick-walled hyphae), clamped. Brown fibrils with extra-cellular pigmentation (not dextrinoid), fibrillose layer partially gelatinised. Cheilocystidia cylindrical, not distinguidhed. Rarely with strangulated apices (gloeosphex-like?). With thick-walled hyphae near gill edge. 4-spored.length=6.4-8.2µm (µ=7.4, σ=0.6), width=3.3-3.9µm (µ=3.6, σ=0.2), Q=1.9-2.3µm (µ=2.1, σ=0.1), n=10 Seem to be lots of collapsed basidia (or gelatinised tissue) on gill edge. No tissue amyloid or dextrinoid.
