Public Note:
[PL] cap vscid, glutinous, gold with brown centre, applanate to broadly convex, margin entire, 5D8/5B8 deep orange. Gills sinuate, orange, with lamellulae in 2 series. Stipe tapering to base, gold, orange. Smell strong. PP an ixocutis, golden brown contents, 4-7um, some walls appear irregular. [JAC] cap with a surface circinate trichodermal layer of thin-walled hyphae, to 4um thick, with occasional refractive walls, unclamped. Not gelatinised. sub-pellis of parallel thin-walled hyphae, to 13um diam, with refractive septa. Not a josserand layer. Basal layer disorganised. Stipitipellis of tightly parallel, thin walled hyphae, to 4um, with occasional bundles of 'caulocystidia', but really just short irregular hyphae, with occasioal dark yellow oleifeous hyphae, to 6um. Cheilocystidia not observed, although some aras of basidioles with brown content. Basidia without basal clamp. spores length=6.2-7.7µm (µ=6.9, σ=0.34), width=4.8-5.7µm (µ=5.2, σ=0.24), Q=1.2-1.4µm (µ=1.32, σ=0.06), n=20
