Growth Conditions:
Moistened dung pellets were incubated at room temperature in closed petri until Pilobolus fruiting bodies emerged. Sporangia were collected either from the lid of the dish or whole fruit bodies and transfered to rabbit dung agar. Rabbit dung agar, 20oC, ca 10mm in 5 days
