Other Details:

The Sphingomonas taxi LK11 have been recently known for their potential to accumulate metal from the contaminated dediums. This bacteria grown in cadmium (CD), Zinc (Zn, Aluminum (Al, copper (Cu) medium. This bacteria showed significant promotory effects on plant growth in contaminated medium. It also regulated gibberllic acid (GA, catalase (CAT) and reduced glutathione in response to salinity stress.

Growth Conditions:

The Sphingomonas taxi LK11 grow well in normal nutrient media, however it can also grow on LB media. The growth temperature is 27-30oC.
