Ascospores germinating on PDA within 24 h.Colonies on MEA reaching 12-17 mm diam. after 7 days in the dark at 25 C (av = 14.1 mm, n=5), undulate, fluffy in the center of old mycelium plug, aerial, medium spare, flat or effuse, initially white, becoming brown, grey in the center and white in the edge from above, light brown from below.
