Basidiocarp isolated from a single specimen
Note:
A sequence for this culture indicates it is A. sp. 'Riccarton' (original material collected near Mona Vale) and not A. lanipes sensu stricto. It is likley this culture is ex PDD68572. Unfortunately the herbarium packet seems to include two Agaricus species. In addition a sequence by Mitchell AF059229 is also attributed to A. lanipes with collection data as Canterbury 1990 but without a voucher stated. That sequence is different and falls within the A. littoralis group.
