Type:
Probable type material of Cryphaea confusa Dixon, N.Z. Inst. Bull. 3: 245 (1927). Enroth (Fragm. Flora Geobot. Ann 40: 137, 1995) designated material in BM as the lectotype of this name, claiming that it was collected by "Naylor Beckett". I doubt his interpretation of the collector of that material. This material was apparently collected by D. Petrie in March 1892.
