"2nd plant"Seed from near North Cape, 1944.Total height of plant: 19". Width of branches and foliage across top: 45"Stem 1" from ground, circumference: 4" (above this stem divides into 3 main branches). All branches pendulous i.e. pointing groundwards and some actually touching the soil.Other seedlings from same batch widely distributed, e.g. to Otari (Wellington) and to Mr. S. Duncan at Tawa Flat. (See [CHR] 97299). Seeds from these twigs for sowing. Botany Div., Lincoln 12.5.61.
