Supplementary remarks:
Specimens XI - XIII Agrostis species. Generally there has been no difficulty in distinguishing A. tenuis, A. stolonifera var. major & A. stolonifera var compacta. I have been less certain, of 'Dryland Brown Top'. Several times I have found at least rudimentary rhizomes on specimens otherwise very similar to A. tenuis. As I have never seen the true 'Dryland' form it is rather difficult to decide the identity of some specimens. I have seen no other description than E.B. Levy's N.Z.J. Agr. 43, 1 1931. Has any further description been published?
