Supplementary remarks:
[Letter to Dr HH Allan from J.E. Attwood 27.3.1933] I have posted you per rail some plants of Hebe sp.? Collected in the Paremoremo parish, Auckland. Enclosed are a few specimens from bushes grown by me from this type. These were grown in moist gum land (swamp) - some of the bushes I repressed by pinching the shoots off as they showed signs of maturing & thus was able to increase the peculiar juvenile foliage.
