Matches very well Colenso's specimen from Norsewood, Hawke's Bay, labelled TYPE of Colenso's A. anomodum, in Cheeseman's handwriting. Auck. Inst. & Mus. No.30347.
The pinnae of Colenso's specimen not so deeply serrate.
