Notes:
Brought to flower in cultivation three weeks after collected. Supplementary Label: [Drawing] Shape of fully opened flower. Stamens equal to ovary in length. First flower 18cm long, last to open 13cm long. Petals white with a few light-purple veins. Stamens violet-purple. Stigma faintly tinged with the same colour. Sepals lanceolate, 12mm long (first flower) to 9mm long (last flower). Leaves purplish below, stem 2 - sided, narrow, edges doubly winged. Hand J.A. Hay.
