Herbarium history:
Profile of habitat [diagram showing high tide, beach and seepage] The terrace where the Pimeleas occur is surfaced with fine sand damp with continual seepage, the water trickling or seeping out on the cliff face. The same Pimelea occurs in shelter of big rocks on the point in damp sand-meadow with Samolus & Selliera etc.
