Type:
potential NEOTYPE of Brachyscome brevifolia G.Simpson, Trans.& Proc. Roy. Soc. New Zealand 79: 432 (1952). Type material of Simpson's Brachyscome species of 1952 have not been found (Allan, Fl. New Zealand 1: 604 (1961) and Webb, New Zealand J. Bot. 25: 142 (1987). CHR 76317 has cultivated plants from the type locality and match the description reasonably well so is the best candidate for a neotype.
