Supplementary remarks:
Beach ridge ca 3' [feet] high, of boulder & gravel. [Diagram showing profile of habitat] the Pimelea area is surfaced with a mixture of fine gravel & coarse sand, dry for 2'-3'. The other main plant in this area is Raoulia australis. Both form small flat cushions 6"-12" diameter and 1-3 feet apart. No plants of Pimelea found anywhere on the rest of the coast between L. Onoke and Fisherman's Rock near Mukumuku-iti [Mukamukaiti] stream.
