HOLOTYPE of Hoheria ovata Simpson et J.Thomson, Trans. & Proc. Roy. Soc. New Zealand 72: 24 (1942). 72740 A and B are together the holotype. Allan, Fl. New Zealand 1: 342 (1961) cites 72740 B as type, but since there is no evidence that the sheets are not from the same gatehring, lectotypification of one sheet was unnecessary.
