Habitat:
Sparsely vegetated stable bedrock (with small proportion of loose smaller rocks atop the broken bedrock). Dominant species and cover are carpet grass (Chionochloa australis). Rytidosperma setifolia, Poa colensoi and Raoulia exineia, R.bryoides mats.
