Definitely O. macrophylla. Based on South Island locality, and the fact that it does have some glandular hairs on pedicel and calyx, it could be subsp. lactea, but due to densely distributed eglandular hairs on calyx, pedicels and bracts, it really keys best to subsp. macrophylla. There are a few specimens of subsp. macrophylla known from the South Island (Paparoa National Park), so this could be another South Island locality for subsp. macrophylla. Interesting specimen.
