Steep basalt bluffs with scattered shrubs in short grassland. Exposed, full sun. Soil dry, basalt base with loess. North facing
Notes:
Habit: Forming dense patches. Fronds erect, paleaceous - densely so when young. Notes: Grown on fronds of cultivated plants at left and right. On more exposed sites than the associated C. sieberi. Inaccessible to stock.
