Steep basalt bluffs with scattered shrubs in short-grassland. Sunny, exposed & dry. Soil - loess with basalt base. North facing
Notes:
Habit: Forming patches. Fronds erect to sub-erect. Stipes, rachis & costae, at least sparsely, paleaceous. Notes: Grown on - fronds of cultivated plants at right (Spring 1979). Patches at bases of rocks and on ledges.
