Notes:
Does not key out to a NZ species, closest to the adventive D. sieberiana, but the awn insertion is 2-3 mm below the lemma apex and the awn is not very twisted. It has short retrorse hairs on the culm below the node and leaf-blade. Dragnet Plot 23.
