Habitat:
Growing on a boulder mid stream.
Notes:
Leaves and stems red-bronze. Habit clumped and upright. Leaves asymmetrical 10-14 x 2 - 3 cm. Ligule membranous fimbriated margin c. 1 mm high. Panicle with dorsally flattened spikelets. Spikelets without obvious retrorse hairs at tips. ( ? different stage of flower develop).
