No evidence of cilia on upper surface, especially the long hairs on the midrib, cila marginal. Formerly C. ciliata but that name is now restricted to a lowland species which occurs from about L Brunner southwards. Presence of cedar and altitude clearly indicate the habitat is more alpine.
