about 20 plants seen, protected by smaller rocks, slightly humid; not flowering yet, but scapes and glomerules developing; leaves slightly lanate on both sides, very variable in size; the flowering scape on the sheet was collected and put for a week in a vase until the glomerule opened; florets brilliant yellow
